7 Google AdWords Mistakes:

Mistake 1 – Opting into the Search Network and Display Network at the same time. The Google Search Network and Search Partners are much different than the Google Display Network (GDN). When you target keywords, you want to target them on the search network since they perform much different for display ads.

Mistake 2 – Not Using Negative Keywords. Negative keywords are vital to a successful campaign. Regardless of the industry you work in, there are always going to be unrelated keywords in your search terms report. In addition, you can remove certain words that will not drive you conversions.

Mistake 3 – Not Optimizing for Conversions. People spend a lot of money on advertising where they simply drive traffic to their website. They have no goal in terms of leads, sales, phone calls, app installs, or any other key performance indicator. In order to successfully manage your advertising budget, you need to track conversions and optimize your conversion rate while keep costs similar.

Mistake 4 – Poor Keyword Research and Bidding on Broad Match Keywords. Keyword Research is absolutely vital to successful campaigns in addition to avoiding broad match keywords. Modified broad match, phrase match, and exact match keywords will help your campaigns perform much better. In addition, finding the right keywords and bidding on them properly will be the best long-term strategy for you.

Mistake 5 – Not Testing Bidding Strategies as you Optimize Google AdWords Campaigns. There are a wide variety of Google AdWords bidding strategies including Target CPA, Target ROAS, Maximize Clicks, Maximize Conversions, Target Outranking Share, Target Top of Page, and Manual CPC. We love starting with Manual CPC and then getting to Target CPA after we test everything.

Mistake 6 – Only Creating 1 Ad Variation and Not Using Ad Extensions. Google AdWords will automatically optimize your campaigns to show your top-performing ads. In addition, ad extensions make your ads larger in search results and you can add more relevant information.

Mistake 7 – Not Understand the Goals of Google AdWords Ultimately, you want to keep testing and optimizing your Google AdWords campaigns until you can effectively use Target CPA or Target ROAS bidding strategies. If you can find the right keywords for your business that drive results, you can keep bidding on them and optimizing your campaigns. Target CPA and Target ROAS bidding strategies will allow Google AdWords to optimize your campaigns for you, you just have to give them the data they need while constantly improving your campaigns.

What Is Leptin Resistance?

Before we saw the world as a globe spinning in the vast expanse of space we once believed it was flat and the sun revolved around us.

The amount of leptin would determine whether the body stores fat or loses it, “a minor increase in leptin concentration reduces the appetite and leads to a decrease in body weight.”(1) This is how things are supposed to work: a high level of leptin in the body informs your brain that there is enough fat stored, you are not starving—you will survive – and so your appetite is switched off and you burn more fat. Similarly, if your body fat were to decrease, leptin should follow suit and diminish, signalling to your brain to stop burning fat—to store the fat you have—to increase your appetite and prompt you to eat.

This is how things are supposed to function. But what happens when something interrupts the balance which our body is meant to keep? That’s when leptin resistance occurs, and this leptin resistance is the reason for our fruitless (yet well-intentioned) attempts to take control of our health and body. Once you are leptin resistant you won’t lose the weight no matter how little you eat or how much exercise you do.

Jean Michele Jarre Rendes Vous

Jean Michele Jarre Rendes Vous

This album is one of my favorite in his discography.

I like to mention some times music albums I’d recommend to listen.

Rendez-vous is the eighth studio album by electronic musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre released on Disques Dreyfus, licensed to Polydor, in 5 April 1986. It sold some three million copies worldwide and remains Jarre’s longest-running chart album in both the U.S. and UK, with a 20-week run in the U.S. and an impressive 38-week run in the UK. It’s his last studio album to date that topped the French charts. The album art of the album was created by long-time collaborator Michel Granger.[2]

The last track on the album was originally scheduled to include a saxophone part recorded by astronaut Ron McNair on the Space Shuttle Challenger, which would have made it the first piece of music to be recorded in space. However, on January 28, 1986, 73 seconds after lift-off, the shuttle disintegrated and the entire Challenger crew were killed. The track was dedicated to McNair and the other astronauts on board Challenger.[3] On the album, the saxophone part is played by saxophonist Pierre Gossez.

The album reached #9 in the UK charts and reached #52 in the US, making it Jarre’s highest-charting album in the country.[4]

The album was nominated for Grammy Award for Best New Age Album in 1987, although it didn’t win the award.[5]

In April 1986, Jarre performed the large-scale outdoor concert Rendez-vous Houston in HoustonTexas, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the founding of Texas. The show attracted a then-world-record live audience of 1.3 million people. The concert was originally to have included a video projection of Ron McNair’s performance, recorded in space.

Jean-Michel returned to the stage in October for another performance, Rendez-Vous Lyon, marking Pope John Paul II‘s visit to Jarre’s hometown of Lyon.

Early editions of the album from 1986 had the tracks for Second and Fifth Rendez-Vous split up into separate parts, and slightly different timings for Fourth and Last Rendez-Vous (Ron’s Piece).
